On Sunday 17 September, we look forward to the first edition of ‘Sorsi di Vagliagli’.
In the heart of the picturesque village of Vagliagli, a few kilometers from Siena, local wine producers will present their excellence to the public.
From 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., it will be possible to taste the wines of the local wineries together with the producers, accompanied by street food and live music.
The ticket is 15 euro, with which you will receive 8 tokens to use at the various stands for wine or food tastings.
The day will be enlivened by the music of the Umagroso group.

The event is organized by the Vagliagli Producers’ Association, with the patronage of the Municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga and the Chianti Classico Consortium.
Other activities:
Over the weekend of 16 and 17 September, on the occasion of Sorsi di Vagliagli, many wineries in the area will be open for visits and tastings. Reservations are recommended, contacting the wineries involved directly.
In addition, Camminando a Quercegrossa has planned two excursions for Sunday 17 September to discover some of the most beautiful views of the area, among vineyards and olive groves. The longer route (7.5 km) will start at 9.30 am from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the other suitable for everyone (5 km) at 10.30 am. For information: [email protected]
Amateur and professional photographers will be able to participate in the photo contest organized by the Association on 17/09. The photos taken must reach [email protected]: those that best capture and tell the spirit of the festival and the village of Vagliagli will then be exhibited in the cellars and the winners will receive a selection of wines from local producers as a prize.
